BIOGRAPHY

I am a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and psycho-oncology specialist based in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. For many years, I have integrated mindfulness and compassion-based approaches into my clinical work with individuals facing cancer, chronic illness, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions.

I am a qualified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and a trained Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR) facilitator.

I offer individual psychotherapy, psycho-oncology support, mindfulness-based interventions, and compassion-focused practices for people living with cancer and their caregivers. I have facilitated MBCR groups and frequently integrate MBCR principles and practices into individual therapeutic work.

Mindfulness and self-compassion are central elements of my psychotherapeutic approach, helping people cultivate resilience, emotional balance, and a greater capacity to navigate the challenges associated with illness and recovery.

CONTACT INFORMATION & RESOURCES

I provide psycho-oncology support and mindfulness-based interventions in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland for people living with cancer and their caregivers. I have created Italian-language online content dedicated to mindfulness and psycho-oncology, including information about the Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR) program and its application in supporting people affected by cancer: https://morbidevoci.ch/mindfulness/mindfulness-psico-oncologia/

In my clinical practice, I integrate MBCR principles and practices in both individual and group settings. The website serves as an informational resource for Italian-speaking patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals interested in mindfulness-based approaches to cancer care. To my knowledge, there are currently few MBCR-specific resources available in Italian in Switzerland. I hope this resource will help increase awareness and accessibility of MBCR for Italian-speaking individuals affected by cancer and for those who support them.
